Edison Acres

From Dirt To Dreams

Edison Acres Starting

This project came to us through a referral from a previous client and began with a conversation around our kitchen table, a wide-open piece of land, and a beautiful vision: creating a place where family could live, grow, and make memories together for generations to come. What started as 30 acres and a dream has grown into a truly unique development. From the earliest planning stages, we've partnered closely with the owners to help bring that vision to life. Edison Acres features four custom homes, two ponds, private roads, and the infrastructure needed to support this one-of-a-kind family community. From land planning and site development to home construction, we've worked alongside our clients every step of the way to create a place that reflects their values, goals, and dreams for the future.

This home is the first of four residences.  The home features approximately 2,000 square feet on the main level, including three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A view-out basement has also been designed to accommodate future expansion, adding a spacious family room, two additional bedrooms, and a third full bathroom when completed.  Thoughtfully designed for both everyday living and future growth, this home combines functionality, comfort, and flexibility to meet the changing needs of this family for years to come.

This custom home was primarily designed for Ms. Jenni—with a little input from Ed along the way. Every detail was thoughtfully planned around the way they live and gather, with a focus on creating a welcoming space for family and friends.  The home features a spacious primary suite and two additional bedrooms designed with grandchildren in mind, providing the perfect place for sleepovers and family visits. At the heart of this home is “Jenni's Cathedral.” This grand vaulted room combines the kitchen, dining area, and main living space into one open gathering area, creating a warm and inviting setting for hosting family, celebrating milestones, and making memories together.

This custom home was designed with both comfort and entertaining in mind, incorporating a variety of unique features tailored to the homeowners' lifestyle.  The main level includes a spacious primary suite, two additional bedrooms, and a welcoming sitting room with built-in library shelving just off the entry. One of the home's most distinctive features is a custom dog room connected to a covered outdoor run, thoughtfully designed for their four-legged family members. Large picture windows throughout the main living areas take full advantage of the property's beautiful southern views and fill the home with natural light. These spaces seamlessly connect to an expansive patio featuring a wood-burning fireplace and ample room for outdoor cooking, entertaining, and gathering with family and friends.  The lower level has been planned for future expansion and will eventually include a theater room, large wet bar, and private guest suite, creating even more space for relaxation and hospitality.
