My passion for building started in my early 20s while working as a finish carpenter and flooring installer. Along the way, I was fortunate to learn from some outstanding mentors who taught me the importance of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and always doing things the right way.
Today, those values remain at the heart of everything we do. I take pride not only in the quality of our work, but also in the relationships we build with our clients. Many of our projects come from referrals from past customers, and there's no greater compliment than being trusted by friends and family they've sent our way.
I've worked hard to build a team that shares those same values—integrity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to serving others well. Hi, I’m Matt Crabtree and it all started back in my early 20s when I was working as a finish carpenter and flooring installer. Those experiences and many great mentors taught me the value of precision, attention to detail, and doing things the right way, and I bring that same mindset to every project. I take a lot of pride in the quality of our work and the relationships we build. Most of our jobs come from happy clients referring their friends and family, and that means the world to me. Over the years, I’ve built a team that shares my values—hard work, honesty, and a commitment to craftsmanship—because great projects start with great people. Projects Overview
Edison Acres
Edison Acres started with a conversation around our kitchen table with only a wide-open piece of land and a vision for a place where family could grow and create memories together for generations to come. From the earliest planning stages, we've partnered closely to help bring that vision to life. This development features four unique, custom homes, two ponds, private roads, and the infrastructure needed to support their little community. From land planning and site development to home construction, we've worked alongside our clients every step of the way to create a place that reflects their goals and dreams. This complete home restoration began before construction ever started. We worked closely with the homeowner throughout the property acquisition process, helping to evaluate the opportunity, purchase the home at auction, and develop a plan for its restoration. While the home's structure was in excellent condition, it needed significant updates throughout. Our team completed a full restoration while preserving the character and charm of the original hardwood floors. Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems were all updated to meet current code requirements. To better fit the homeowner's needs, we also transformed the basement by adding a modern primary suite complete with a full bathroom and walk-in closet. The result is a beautifully restored home that blends timeless character with modern comfort and functionality.
Valley Center
This new development in the City of Sedgwick is a thoughtfully planned build-to-rent community designed to meet the growing demand for quality, attainable housing. The project will feature a variety of floor plans and exterior elevations, offering residents housing options that fit different lifestyles and needs while maintaining a cohesive neighborhood feel. As Sedgwick continues to grow, the need for affordable, low-maintenance housing continues to increase. This development is intended to help address that need by providing well-designed single-family homes that offer comfort, functionality, and long-term value for residents and the community alike.
Cardinal Edition
Located in the City of Sedgwick, this build-to-rent development will consist of six zero-entry duplexes designed for adults aged 55 and older. The project aims to provide high-quality, low-maintenance housing that allows residents to enjoy independent living while remaining connected to the community they call home. With accessibility and long-term comfort at the forefront of the design, these homes will offer an attractive housing option for those looking to downsize without leaving Sedgwick.
